How to Scan Documents Using iPhone




Do you know that you do not need to download apps in your phone to scan documents? Apple has a built-in feature that allows you to scan your documents in the simplest way possible. Here are the quick steps to show you how you can do so

Take note: This quick tip only applies to iPhone users

Let’s start!

1. Open your Notes app

2. Tap on ‘All iCloud’ folder

3. Tap on the pencil icon at the bottom right

4. Type in a title and tap done at the top right

5. Tap on the camera icon at the bottom

6. Tap on ‘Scan Documents’

7. Ensure that the document is highlighted
8. Tap on the shutter button to take a picture of your document

9. Tap, hold and drag to adjust the corners you want to be in the document

10. Tap ‘Keep Scan’ once adjusted
11. Repeat the same steps to scan the rest of the documents

12. Once done, tap on the ‘save’ button to save all

13. Tap and hold the document created. You can copy, share, rename or delete them

14. Tap on the document, you can also add new documents in, crop, filter, rotate and delete them

15. Swipe left to see the rest

16. Tap on the icon at the right

17. You can share to different platforms, print and save them in your ‘files’ app

You can now scan physical documents and view them in your notes app!
